When you participate in the public consultation through this platform, you must provide your last and first names, a nickname, and your email address. You can then write your proposals and comments in the fields provided for this purpose, participate in votes, and answer questionnaires, where applicable. Among the information provided at the time of registration, only your first and last names and your nickname will be communicated on the platform. Your email address will never be made public.
No additional personal information must be included in the proposals or comments that you transmit through the platform. If you decide to voluntarily transmit additional personal or other confidential information through the platform, you acknowledge that their protection, integrity, and confidentiality are not assured.
The Québec government has the right to reproduce and disseminate all the comments, contributions and proposals published or transmitted on the participation platform. The information thus disseminated will not include identification information, that is, the last and first names of the individual who formulated such information.
The Québec government is subject to the application of the Act respecting Access. Consequently, it must ensure the confidentiality of all personal information held in the discharge of its duties. Moreover, it must ensure that such information is used solely by duly authorized staff. The information obtained can be communicated to other individuals or organizations, but as stipulated in the Act respecting Access.
Such information can also be used for research, evaluation, investigations or surveys insofar as the requirements stipulated in the Act respecting Access or the Regulation respecting the distribution of information and the protection of personal information are observed.
The Act respecting Access allows you to consult your personal information and to have such information rectified. Rectification requests must be submitted to the head of access to documents and the protection of personal information in the organization concerned.
Deleting a user account
At any time, you can request the deletion of your account, which will delete your personal information (last and first names, nickname and email address) from our database. Your participation in consultations will be kept, but anonymously and will no longer be associated with your account. To request the deletion of your account, use the «Delete my account» option among the options for managing your user account.
Security
The Québec government is implementing security measures to properly protect personal and confidential information. What is more, you are responsible for the personal information that you transmit through the website and for keeping your password confidential. The government cannot be held liable for unauthorized use of the data, which is beyond its control.
